ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ – Λάρκος Λάρκου

As a teacher, since 2003 he has been a music teacher at the Cyprus Secondary School. He also taught music at the "Vladimiros Kafkarides" Drama School (since 2001 to 2006) and at the Nicosia Music Lyceum in 2006. He has been a lecturer to educational seminars and music workshops and took the lead to musical projects.

Instructor in seminars / experiential workshops for educators/students:

In 2004 he was the lecturer for music in the Theatre in the seminars organized by Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC) throughoutCyprus for teachers who undertake the staging of performances in secondary education (within the framework of the theatre competition).

**Training seminars for teachers of various disciplines, 2013 (The Anerada) and 2014 (The Chiotissa).**

• “Chiotissa”- Seminar and experiential workshop of composition and improvisation, for about 200 teachers of different specialties, 21 & 22/1/2013, Kasteliotissa Hall, Nicosia.
• “Anerada”- Seminar and experiential composition and improvisation workshop for approximately 200 teachers of different specialties, 21 & 22/1/2014, Kasteiliotissa Hall, Nicosia and Lanitio Lyceum, Limassol.
"Song Composition and Arrangement" – online seminar for students and teachers participating in music composing competitions.

"Once upon a time... music" - teaching/ workshop of an opening group on ancient Greek music

Students-teachers performances

• Nicosia Lyceum Provincial Orchestra (“Mantra” and “Kyprogenia” Educational arrangements)
• He participated in the multi-thematic project (workshops and concert) "Once upon... music" organized by secondary education with the participation of all Gymnasiums and Lyceums of Nicosia, as animator of the group for Ancient Greek Music (concert on 10 April 2008 at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre).

Vasilis Michaelides- Larkos Larkou set in music- full performances-dromena with students at Neapoli Gymnasioum, Limassol (four performances) and Paliometocho School (13/6/2014).

2017- One hundred years since the death of Vassilis Michaelides, at the Kiti Regional High School.

"Musical Youth of Cyprus" [Jeunesse Musicales International (J.M.I.)] - Participation in the programmes:

"Ethno Cyprus" 2005, 2006 and 2008 (summer music camps with young musicians from Eastern Mediterranean and European countries), as animator of the Cypriot group. Collaboration with “Arab – Jewish Youth Orchestra”.
• “Everybody Song” (music as a tool for the promotion of diversity and intercultural understanding) -Seminar in Skopje, 31/3- 6/4/2007

SOCIAL ACTIVITY

2009-2011 voluntarily conducted the pensioners' choir “The old company” of E.KY.SY (Union of Cypriot Pensioners).
